Meet the Office Staff

Patience | Office Manager

Patience has been the heart of Elma Family Dental as the Office Manager for the past six years. With a passion for helping both patients and staff, she ensures that everything runs smoothly and that everyone feels supported. Originally from Shelton and still living there, Patience treats the office like family, creating a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the doors.

When she’s not managing the hustle and bustle of the office, you’ll find her enjoying outdoor adventures, camping, hiking, and spending quality time with her grandbabies. Her guilty pleasure? Potato chips—because who can resist a crunchy snack? If she could have a superpower, it would be the ability to see the future, making prevention a breeze! Patience loves working with a team that feels like family every day.

McKenzie | Financial Coordinator

She is dedicated to working closely with you and your insurance company to process your insurance claims and get them paid. She is also expanding her dental knowledge daily so that she is able to answer your questions about your dental needs as well.

McKenzie is Married and has 4 wonderful children. When she is not working in the office she enjoys spending time with her family, quilting and cooking/baking!

Kelly | Treatment Plan Coordinator

Kelly has been the Treatment Plan Coordinator at Elma Family Dental for 15 years, bringing her passion for helping people and her wealth of experience to the role. Her journey into dentistry began with a job shadow in 7th grade, which sparked her lifelong interest in supporting patients’ health. Kelly loves talking with patients and educating them on their dental treatment, helping them work together to achieve their oral health goals.

Originally from Forks and now living in Olympia, Kelly enjoys spending her free time hiking, riding her bike, and visiting the ocean. She’s also a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoying the thrill of the open road. Her favorite snack? Animal Cookies!

Kelly’s dental tip is simple but important: Brush, floss, and don’t forget about your tongue! She’s proud to be part of a team that works well together, always striving to provide the best care for their patients.

Miranda | Scheduling Coordinator

Miranda has been the Scheduling Coordinator at Elma Family Dental for 1 year, where her fascination with teeth and passion for helping others shine through. She loves helping to ease patients’ dental anxiety and making everyone feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door.

A lifelong resident of Grays Harbor, Miranda enjoys spending her free time with her husband and daughter, reading, collecting house plants, and being outdoors. If she could have a superpower, it would be self-replication—so she could be everywhere at once, accomplishing even more!

Her top dental advice? Stay hydrated! It helps wash away food particles and bacteria while keeping your mouth moist. And even if your mouth doesn’t hurt, Miranda reminds you that regular checkups are important for catching any potential issues early. She loves the friendly, family-like atmosphere at Elma Family Dental and is proud to be part of such a welcoming team.

Kiana | Administrative Coordinator Support

Kiana has been part of the Elma Family Dental team for three years, bringing a fresh perspective and enthusiasm to her role. Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, she moved to Washington in 2017 and decided to explore something new by joining the dental field. Kiana enjoys learning new things every day and loves educating patients about their dental insurance benefits, ensuring they get the most out of their coverage.

If she had a superpower, it would be super speed, so she could get things done even faster! Her dental wisdom? Brush and floss every day—no shortcuts! And if you’ve heard the myth about oil pulling removing tartar or cavities, she’s here to debunk it.

Kiana appreciates the diverse personalities at Elma Family Dental, and she feels lucky to work with such a unique and caring team.

Kim | Financial Coordinator

Kim has been part of the Elma Family Dental family for nine years, and she loves the friendships she’s made along the way. Inspired by her older sister, who’s a dental assistant, Kim found her niche in helping patients with their financial needs and making dental care accessible. Originally from Olympia, where she still resides, Kim enjoys spending her free time going on adventures with her three kids.

When she’s not busy helping patients or being a mom, you can find Kim snowboarding and indulging in her favorite treat—peanut butter M&Ms. If she could have a superpower, it would be invisibility, so she could get work done without interruptions! Her dental wisdom? Brush twice a day and floss—it’s non-negotiable! And don’t believe the oil-pulling hype—it won’t replace regular dental visits.

Kim says being a mom is her #1 job, but working with such a fun and supportive team makes Elma Family Dental her second family.

Amanda | Front Office

Amanda B joined Elma Family Dental two months ago and has already made a positive impact with her enthusiasm for helping others. She loves that her role allows her to make a difference in patients’ lives every day, offering opportunities to create meaningful, positive experiences with everyone she meets.

Born and raised in Grays Harbor, Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and dog. An organization enthusiast, she finds joy in putting things in order and keeping life tidy. Her favorite treat? Fresh, warm cookies! If she could have a superpower, it would be having more than two arms to boost her multitasking skills.

Her dental wisdom? Start and end your day with brushing and flossing, and find a routine that works for you. She also wants to debunk the myth that brushing harder means cleaner teeth—it’s all about technique, not force! Amanda is excited and grateful to be part of a team that values teamwork, where everyone works together to provide patients with high-quality care and a great experience.
