Katherine J. Seibert (Ketcher), DMD
Dr. Katherine Seibert (Ketcher) was born and raised in up-state New York. She has been in the field of dentistry since 1995. Dr. Kathie started her dental career as a dental assistant while she attended the University of Louisville where she earned her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene in 1998. She worked as a dental hygienist in Kentucky while she again attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
She served in the U.S. Army at Fort Lewis, WA as a dentist with a focus on serving the troops, community, children and retirees. She received many awards and an honorable discharge on completion in 2007.
Dr. Kathie is active in the community and schools. Her son, Geored, works with us as a dental assistant. Kathie and her husband, Mike, enjoy traveling and hiking a few times a year.
Stephen K. Edwards, DMD
Dr. Stephen Kyle Edwards was born in Utah, and raised in Eastern Oregon. After graduating from Boise State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology, Dr. Edwards attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated in 2006.
Returning to the West Coast as an Active Duty dentist in the US Army at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Dr. Edwards proudly served our service men and women. After completing his service with the Army, Dr. Edwards partnered with Dr. Kathie full time at Shelton Dental Center in April of 2011. His patient-centered approach to providing state of the art preventative, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry fosters a strong and healthy partnership with his patients.
Dr. Edwards and his wife, Kim, volunteer in local and international dental healthcare programs, providing dental care to underserved adults and children with extensive dental needs. In their free time they enjoy spending time with their two sons, hiking, camping, and sailing.
Rosen Dimov, DMD
Dr. Rosen Dimov was born and raised in the sixth ancient city in the world – Plovdiv, Bulgaria. He graduated from the University of dental medicine of Plovdiv in 1999. He practiced dentistry in Bulgaria until he immigrated to Vancouver, BC. He worked as a dental assistant for three years while he was preparing for dental school so that he could gain his dental license in the United States. After graduating from New Jersey Dental School, with awards from the East Coast Periodontics Society, he successfully worked in corporate practice while living in Kennewick, WA for the last eight years.
Dr. Dimov joined Elma Family Dental as an associate dentist in October 2020 and is excited to work with his amazingly friendly staff of excellent dental professionals. His motto is: ‘always work as if you are working on your relatives’. Dr. Dimov is looking forward to working with you and your family.
In his leisure time, he likes to watch soccer, go fishing, and go camping with friends.
Michelle Yu, Associate Dentist
Dr. Michelle Yu brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Elma Family Dental. Originally from the bustling streets of New York City, she now calls Lacey home. Dr. Yu pursued dentistry to help patients achieve their best smiles and stay pain-free. Her favorite part of the job? Seeing her patients’ relief and joy after treatment! She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University and went on to graduate from Temple Dental School in Philadelphia. Dr. Yu further honed her skills through a one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) program at Beth Israel Hospital in New Jersey. Originally from New York City, Michelle’s family has since relocated to Seattle, and she now calls Washington home, where she lives with her husband and their beloved cat, Kiki.
With a passion for helping patients achieve their best smiles, Dr. Yu loves the feeling of getting people out of pain and restoring their confidence. Outside the office, you’ll likely find her on a pickleball court, hiking, or camping. Her dental wisdom? Drink your coffee through a straw to keep those teeth stain-free!
